In 2016 we found out that my wife, Lety was pregnant with our baby girl. Late into her second trimester we learned that Lety and our unborn daughter were at risk of gestational diabetes.
At that time, I had completed my Ph.D. in Health Science, and I knew that I had to find a way to help control Lety’s blood sugar levels for the health of her and our baby. I dug into the research knowing that there had to be a natural solution, and discovered that some plants can help reduce blood glucose levels (Ex: Moringa). Most importantly, we adopted the practice of preventative care rather than having to cure a potential health issues later in life.
This experience changed our lives and marked the beginning of a family business. Our mission is to help people around the world reduce sugar without giving up delicious sweets, like chocolate.
